The present invention relates to a stud ring to be mounted on a bicycle tire according to the claims.
Cycling is very awkward and a danger list in slippery weather without studded tires. There are many ready-made studded tires for bicycles on the market, but their inconvenience is the annual replacement work and the resulting annual cost. There is a good reason to find a solution to reduce extra work and minimize costs.
The object of the invention is to make cycling on slippery roads easier and safer and to save costs. When using a stud rim, two different tires are not required and tire replacement is avoided. The stud ring is easy to mount on top of the tire without removing the ring.
Reference is made to the claims in respect of the features of the stud rim of a bicycle according to the invention.
The main parts of the invention are a pin part, a pin mounting base part and a circumferential part, all of which are attached to each other. The parts are made of a well-known material suitable for the purpose. If necessary, the peripheral part and the mounting base part of the pin part can be of the same material as the peripheral part. The main part of the perimeter is a peripheral part in which both the mounting base part of the pin part and the pin part are attached. The stud rim is designed with the tread pattern of the tire so that it sinks into the grooves in the tread, which helps the rim to stay in place. The stud rim also attaches to the surface of the tire as it tightens. The stud ring can be cut, so that it can be placed on the tire without removing the ring. The tire pressure is calculated during the installation of the stud rim. The tire is inflated to the correct air pressure after fitting the stud, which tightens the stud to the surface of the tire. The pin ring according to the figures is made of a well-known material suitable for the intended use. The pin ring has a pin portion 1, a pin portion mounting base portion 2 and a ring portion 3.
